2- GOD CREATES.
The opening passage of the book of Genesis, which recounts God's creation of the universe and all things in six days, has been the subject of ridicule by many as unscientific. Some Christians do not pay attention to it. But some young people wonder and think about it, become bored, neglect to meditate on God's Word, are lazy to attend Mass, and skip confession and Communion.
Because this is God's science, this is the work of the Holy Spirit. He used such a simple and poetic story to hide a work greater than the creation of heaven and earth. Then Jesus himself used parables and teachings to reveal that work: "I will open my mouth in parables, I will reveal secrets hidden from the creation of the world."
This story is a story that most of us have heard or read it: It includes 31 paragraphs of Chapter One and 3 and a half paragraphs of Chapter Two in the book of Genesis:
Genesis 1:1: "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth":
This sentence both identifies God as the Creator of heaven and the earth and enlightens science, because not only at that time but until now, many people still think that heaven and earth existed from eternity and were eternally stable, many people who believe in the gods believe that the gods came from somewhere in this Universe. But Jesus affirmed 2000 years ago that "Heaven and earth will pass away", and in fact science has proven that the time the universe was born, grew up and then passed away ("The Origin of the Universe").
Gen 1,2: "The earth was a formless void, darkness covered the abyss, and the Spirit of God hovered over the waters.":
"The earth was a formless void": About 15 billion years ago, this physical universe had nothing, nothing could be seen, no dust particles ("Origin of the Universe"). "Darkness covered the abyss": "darkness" is the devil and his power, as for the "abyss", read the parable of "Lazarus and the rich man", where Abraham said to the rich man: "Between you and me there is a great 'abyss'". And in the Revelation according to Saint John, it was also confirmed that the "abyss" is hell. Therefore, we do not have to argue whether there is hell or not, because the Bible has determined: Before the world was created, the devil's power covered hell.
"The Spirit of God hovered over the water": John 3, 5-7: Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." So we understand that the Spirit hovering over the water is God's plan in creating material life and creating our souls.
Gen 1:3: "God said, 'Let there be light.' And there was light":
If we look at science, if there is no luminous object, how can there be light? Or if we just create luminous objects, there will be light. Therefore, LIGHT has an extremely noble meaning: God created humans only for the purpose of us creating merit to live forever in the Kingdom of God. Therefore, the first important thing is that God created LIGHT to lead us to eternal life, the LIGHT that Jesus said: (John 12, 46-50) "I am the Light that has come into the world, so that whoever believes in Me will not remain in darkness. Whoever hears My words and does not keep them, I do not judge him, for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. Whoever rejects Me and does not receive My words has one who judges him; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day. Indeed, I have not spoken on my own, but the Father who sent Me has given me a commandment as to what to say and what to proclaim. And I know that His Commandment is ETERNAL LIFE. Therefore, what I say, I say exactly as the Father has told me.":
LIGHT is the Teaching of Jesus Christ, whose Teachings include extremely precious and important LAWS, necessary to lead humanity to eternal life. ("SUPERNATURAL LAWS").
Gen 1, 4-5: "God saw that the light was good. God separated the Light from the darkness. God called the Light "day", and the darkness he called "night", and there was evening and there was morning: the first day":
The Light of Christ is the Way, the Truth, the Life, the Word of God, the Word of the Father, the LAWS of God that distinguish what is right and wrong, good and bad, so it is extremely necessary and important that it was created first on the "First Day" (meaning the most important thing).
Gen 1:6-8: "And God said, 'Let there be a vault in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.' And God made the vault and separated the waters under the vault from the waters above it. And it was so. And God called the vault 'heaven.' And there was evening, and there was morning: the second day":
The water is life, the water under the vault is the physical life, the body. The water above the vault is the supernatural life, the immortal soul.
Gen 1:9-10: And God said, 'Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.' And it was so. And God called the dry land 'earth,' and the gathered waters he called 'seas.' And God saw that it was good":
Read Gen 3:19: "... For you were taken from the earth. "You are dust, and to dust you shall return.": So we understand "earth" as death, "sea" as life. So "Water below the sky" is physical life that is born, grows up, grows old and then dies.
Gen 1:11-13: God said, "Let the earth produce vegetation, seed-bearing plants, and fruit trees on the earth, each bearing its own seed in it." And it was so. The earth produced vegetation, seed-bearing plants, each bearing its own seed in it, and the trees bearing fruit, each bearing its own seed in it. And God saw that it was good. After evening and morning: It was the third day.":
Jesus' words: "Every good tree bears good fruit, and every bad tree bears bad fruit..." And as in Genesis 2:9: "The LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground that were pleasant to the sight and good for food, including the tree of life in the middle of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil." So "trees" and "grass" are big and small things, so we understand the meaning of the above passage that all our actions leave behind good or bad results: Therefore, not only is sin spread, but more importantly and necessary, blessings are also transmitted.
Genesis 1:14-19: God said: "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark the great festivals of the days and years. And these were the lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth." And it was so. God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night; he also made the stars. God set them in the expanse of the sky to GIVE LIGHT to the earth, and to GOVERN the day and the night, and to SEPARATE the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning: the fourth day."
Everyone understands the literal meaning of "lights" as the sun, the moon and the stars, and as mentioned above, "Light" is the LAWS of God, then we see more clearly here: the light is considered each LAW of God as presented in "SUPERNATURAL LAWS" which includes 3 Laws: The Sun symbolizes the Law of "WHO HAS, MORE WILL BE GIVEN", the Moon symbolizes the Law of "PAY UNTIL THE LAST PENNY" and the Law of "GIVE AS MUCH AS YOU RECEIVE". Therefore, the Bible uses three wonderful verbs: GIVE LIGHT, GOVERN, SEPERATE: Meaning: God created LAWS to guide and enlighten humanity to know what is right-wrong, good-bad so that humanity can practice and receive salvation and rely on those Laws to judge and punish the world, and the WORDS of JESUS are the Laws: John 12, 47-48: "I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. Whoever despises Me and does not accept Me, someone has a judge: MY WORDS will judge him on the last day."
"He also made the stars": In reality, many stars are very large but are very far away so they look small, "Stars" are also God's Laws but the meaning is as far away as: "Whoever loves his life will lose it","Whoever exalts himself will be humbled", "Forgive and you will be forgiven", "Give and it will be given to you"...
Gen 1:20-25: God said, "Let the waters teem with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the dome of the sky." God created the great sea monsters and every living creature that swarms with them, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. God saw that it was good. God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth." And evening came and morning came, the fifth day. God said, "Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creeping things, and wild animals according to their kinds." And it was so. God made the wild animals according to their kinds, and livestock according to their kinds, and creeping things on the ground according to their kinds. God saw that it was good.":
See Mt 7:6: "Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and innocent as doves." And Mt 10, 16: "Do not give what is holy to dogs; pearls, do not throw them to swine...": we understand that gentle and fierce animals symbolize gentle and fierce people, good and bad people, so the question "Where does suffering come from?", "Why does God let evil happen?" This passage of the Bible is the answer: God created noble and humble people, black and white people, ugly and beautiful people, healthy people, blind and lame people, deaf and dumb people, disabled people... God created animals, some are gentle, beautiful, pretty and useful... There are also poisonous and fierce animals like tigers, leopards, snakes, scorpions, poisonous plants, weeds, germs, bacteria that cause diseases and epidemics... God created warm weather, favorable weather... God also created storms, floods, droughts, earthquakes, tsunamis... Therefore, happiness as well as suffering are NATURAL LAWS created by God Himself, but God also created something much more important, SUPERNATURAL LAWS to combine with those natural laws that provide, teach, judge, and reward according to the conditions and circumstances of each person. (The Message of Merciful Love, Jesus: "Nature has laws that must be respected, but supernatural life with God has even more important LAWS that people must recognize and respect if they want to reach complete detachment from creation")
Gen 1, 26-28: "God said: "Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the livestock, all the wild animals, and all the creatures that move along the ground. God created man in his own image. "God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them": "God blessed them, and God said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves on the earth':
God rules over heaven and earth, both Heaven and hell, so because of justice, He cannot create us as angels but "Created man male and female" so that we "Can multiply and fill the earth"
"God created man in the image of God" as man with a soul: On July 31, 1966, Jesus said to Margarita: "I created your SOUL in the IMAGE of the Father.": Man is "like" God, in the "Image" because man is born with the Flesh and Blood of God, because man is the SON of GOD. And man has a soul, so he is a thousand times more intelligent and wiser than animals and can rule over all of them.
Gen 1, 29: "God said: "Behold, I give you every herb bearing seed that is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree with fruit bearing seed, to be your food. And to every beast of the field, and to every bird of the air, and to every creeping thing that has the breath of life, I give every green herb for food":
Jesus' words: "Every good tree bears good fruit..." so "Fruit" is the good deeds we do that will bear fruit of merit to be "Food" to nourish and sanctify our souls.
Gen 2, 1-3: "Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their parts. On the seventh day, God finished the work he had done. When He finished all His work, on the seventh day, God RESTED, God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because on that day He rested, stopped all His creative work.":
Before creating man, God created extremely just Laws, so He did nothing other than absolutely base on those Laws to protect, care for, teach, comfort and lead us to eternal life, and based on those Laws to judge and reward and punish. Therefore, "REST" means that God did nothing else, all the things He did on earth were in SUPERNATURAL LAWS combined with natural laws.
Gen 2, 4: "That is the origin of heaven and earth when they were created.": God's creation of heaven and earth and all things and species had a beginning and has lasted for many generations until today.
In short, it is not like some of you criticize It is unscientific, but the extremely sacred and miraculous Bible has expressed creation in a wonderful way: The same text can express from the creation of matter to the creation of the soul and especially the creation of God's good, immutable, and just laws.
